An essential part of the Bodyshop Revolution process is continuous workflow. Once a vehicle enters a Bodyshop Revolution facility, it is worked on all the time, with just two exceptions - queuing for the spraybooth (a built-in buffer before the primary constraint), or what is termed a 'Murphy', something unexpected that forces you to pull the vehicle out of the production flow.
In order to achieve continuous workflow and not move the vehicle more than once, you need to have the facility to complete any job that needs doing within the workbay, including applying and drying filler and primer. Not only that, but you also have to be able to dry it within minutes, not hours. The Flydry robot and Drytron hand held lamps allow you to achieve this, leading to some quite spectacular repair times.
