Jon Parker's career in the automotive industry began when he left school in 1980 to work in precision engineering, which then led to several years as a Grand Prix race engineer for Honda Racing Corporation and Kawasaki Japan. Jon then went on to form his own business, Chequers Coachworks in Sussex. During that period, Jon co-developed Bodymaster, to date the UK's most successful Bodyshop Management System. In 1995 Byteback Systems was founded as an IT and Engineering enterprise, providing high tech services and solutions across the industry. As Managing Director of the Byteback Group of Companies, Jon is the innovator behind the Bodyshop Revolution concepts and heads the team responsible for implementing the system. When not working, Jon is a helicopter pilot and keen amateur cyclist, currently working on organising a charity cycle ride from Silverstone to Monaco in May this year.
